Stay in Touch with The Lung Association if Postal Service is Disrupted
The Lung Association is advising donors and supporters about alternative ways to connect in the event of possible work action that might disrupt mail delivery and other Canada Post services.
Donors who usually send gifts through the mail can continue to contribute online by clicking the Donate Now button on The Lung Association homepage – www.on.lung.ca – or by calling our toll-free number 1-888-344-LUNG (5864).
If your tax receipt is delayed and you need it urgently, call the same toll-free number or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll arrange for delivery by email of fax.
Other services provided by The Lung Association may be more seriously affected if Canada Post workers proceed with threatened work action. For example, delivery of printed lung health resources ordered by phone or online will be delayed until normal postal service resumes.
There will be no interruption to the free Lung Health Information Line. Call 1-8888-344-LUNG (5864) to speak to one of our Certified Respiratory Educators about asthma, COPD, air quality, quitting smoking or any other breathing issue.
